A meet and greet with the Whisper

A meet and greet with the Whisper

So in the introduction I already stated, with the Whisper it's all about getting that big stylish chassis, yet silent with noise dampening features kept in mind. The Whisper therefore is marketed as a silent full tower chassis, based on the NZXT HU-001 chassis.

Now we'll talk you through all the sound dampening features over the next pages in our photo-shoot but let's talk shortly about features here for a second,. The chassis comes featured in a large size E-ATX Full Tower. As such the Whisper supports up to no less than nine hard drives and a total of six 5.25"; bays with enough space for large expansion cards. That's .. a plethora of storage devices you can house.

Inside you'll be noticing 10mm dampening foam, rubber grommets, and a padded rubber PSU holder all to keep it quiet. So it's a chassis designed for the more enthusiast users among you, that's all of you isn't it ? :)

Check out some of the specifications.

So then, a full-tower case made of steel featuring six 5 ¼ external bays, nine 3 ½ internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards and water cooling support. Whisper also has one 120-mm frontal fan (that glows in blue when the system is turned on) and one 120-mm rear fan.

On the top panel of this case you can find two USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA port and microphone input and headphones output. Whisper will sell at a recommended price tag of USD 139.99.
